Hello everyone, my name is William K Elliott. Actually, it's not. But my real last name seems to be impossible for most to spell, much less pronounce, so I condensed it to the letter "K" and moved it up to become my middle initial. My mother's maiden name is "Elliott," and since people can both spell and pronounce it, I made that my new last name. Thus, you have my pseudonym, "William K Elliott." See, wasn't that simple? Ahem. The picture on the left is the place where I do most of my writing. True to Stephen King's suggestion in "On Writing," it is a non-pretentious little place made up of a hand-me-down kitchen table, a bolt-on keyboard tray, and a spare dining room chair. It's been cleaned up a bit for the pic, so don't use this as an example for your children on how a desk should look as it's all fiction. Usually, it's difficult to find the surface of the desk because of all the crap I seem to collect there. Of course, even when clean, there is always the issue of the cat... Above you will find links entitled "About Me" (where you can learn about me and my urge to write), "Contact" (where you can go to send me notes of encouragement, suggestions on my work, or directions to the nearest mental health facility), as well as links to my current works in progress. Feel free to have a look around, check out the scenery, and even snoop a bit through the medicine cabinet or desk drawers. William K Elliott

William K ElliottWilliam is a member of that ever-popular group known as “Aspiring Writers,” also known as “unemployed.” He has been dabbling in writing for some twenty or thirty years, and has finally decided to “get down to business.” With inspiration from Steven King’s “On Writing,” and a lot of support from his wife, Kristy, he has been working on his first novel.
